He received his PhD in Biblical Interpretation from the Joint Doctoral Program of the Iliff School of Theology and the University of Denver. He is the author of An Introduction to Classical Hebrew. Yael Avrahami is the head of the biblical studies department at Oranim Academic College. She taught in the past at the University of Haifa, Israel and at the University of Sydney, Australia. She is the author of The Senses of Scripture: Sensory Perception in the Hebrew Bible.George Athas earned his PhD from the University of Sydney. He is currently Dean of Research and Senior Lecturer in Old Testament at Moore Theological College (Sydney, Australia).
